Hesburger

Hesburger is restaurant typically Finnish. It is a fast food like McDonald’s but for Finnish Hesburger is better. You can find this restaurant everywhere, on every street corner!! I tried it once for the moment, and the taste for the hamburger is not very different than McDo but the French fries were very good. But I took just the baby hamburger (for the children) and it was good but nothing special.

A little history point:

In 1980, the first Hesburger, or Hese in Finnish was created in Turku. Now it has a most important fast food chain more than McDonald’s. In 1992, there were only 12 point and now there are 272 restaurants in Finland, and in Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine and Germany.

Hesburger and McDonald’s propose can of the same menu, but the difference is Hesburger proposes kabab and hot dog (I must try). This enterprise employs over 5 000 persons in Finland. The first restaurant opened where Hansakoretli is now located.
