Helsinki Christmas Market

Who say December, say Christmas and Christmas Market!!!!

The first time I came to Helsinki we visit the city centre and near to the port we found a little Christmas Market. I bought my warm hat, made in Finland, in this cute little market and after this little shopping, we stopped in the little shop who sold the Finnish Christmas drink, called Glögi. My cousin who visit me, tried the Glögi with alcohol (red wine), and you can choose which alcohol you can add in the Glögi, it can be red wine, rum or vodka. And I took one without alcohol (because I don’t drink alcohol). It is a warm drink with a mix with spices and some fruit juice.

And the second time we came in Helsinki there is a biggest Christmas Market in the Senaatintori place. And thought it can be a magical moment, but I was disappointed because they sold in majority food, but not that cloths made in Finland or some Finnish traditional things for Christmas. But it was big and nicely decorated. And we could try Poro, it is a dish based on the rice.
