Finnish stereotype

Finland is the happiest country, but a lot of stereotypes stays. Many people amalgamate between Finland and Nordic country, but there are some differences.

Before I come, I did some research about this country and I talk with a lot of people about that, and most of the time, I can read or hear the Finnish are cold person, they drink a lot. And when I arrived I would to do my own opinion about the Finnish. And I met different people in my clinical practice or in school and I can saw the stereotype can be true for some people but not for all. For example, the student or nurse who do not travel in another country can be a little cold for the first impression.

I learnt during some intervention or convention, the Finnish are silence and calm people, they need their space (1 arm) during a conversation for example. They can be also sad or angry, but a teacher explains to us, the Finnish do not use a lot expression, they listen with attention, but they do not need to express every emotion, every time like the Latin people.

Every culture is different and we just to know how the people in the others country can be.

And you what are yours ?
